Aona, Gale Lagaona…Women want it Too

In a world full of mardaangi, women's sexual desires often take a back seat. Society has long perpetuated the myth that men are the sole pleasure-seekers, leaving women confined within the boundaries of traditional roles. But what if we challenged this narrative?

Let’s rewind and refresh an interesting character - Savita Bhabhi. Remember? The classic icon and symbol of feminine sensuality. Her allure wasn't that she was gharelu, but that she openly enjoyed sex. That was the whole focus of the comic series. Savita Bhabi fearlessly pursued her desires, flying in the face of gender norms. Despite the ban on Savita Bhabi comics, it's interesting how society indulges in it privately but shies away from acknowledging women's sexual desires!

The difference in expected behavior comes from how society has taught us to act., where women are taught that the trigger is always in the man’s hand. Aapne toh suna hi hoga, “Achhe ghar ki ladkiyan” wale dialogues!!! The notion of 'good girls' from respectable families only engaging in sex to please their pati parmeshwars reinforces this stereotype. Yet, this belief system is as absurd as the old superstition about black cat crossing the road. It's high time we discarded these outdated notions.

Breaking news!! Women desire sex just as much as men, if not more! Their path to arousal might be different, requiring more than a mere glance.  Women crave intimacy and have every right to pursue it on their terms. Society must stop punishing them for it, and instead,  celebrate the sexually liberated woman.

Fact check, a sexually liberated woman  is happier and more active in bed!!  We should indeed celebrate that. In every other aspect, we encourage women to step out, pursue their dreams, and assert their rights. It's essential to extend this encouragement to the realm of intimate relationships. Let’s abandon the old-fashioned 'old boys' order and accept that women want and enjoy sex. Embracing women's sexual pleasure is not just a step towards equality; it's a celebration of human desires and freedom.
